Here are some questions that we are commonly asked. Of course, if you don't find the answer you're looking for, feel free to contact us via email or phone.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q. How soon can I become a Partner and an Certified Stone and Tile Professional after I apply?

A. We have a couple of forms for you to complete. Once you get them back to us completed and pay your first month fee, give us a day or two to verify all information provided and you can start taking advantage of all the benefits of being a Partner. If you have an order pending at Stonecare Central and want to get Partner pricing before we've had a chance to check out references, etc, we can place a call and have it pre-authorized.

Q. Can I be listed in more than one category on stoneandtilepros.com?

A. You can be listed in each category that you meet the requirements for. If, for example, you are a Fabricator and you also offer restoration services, and you meet the requirements for both classifications, you can be listed in both sections. You will need to pay the Partner fee for each classification.

Q. Do I have to use your web solution to be a Partner?

A. No. We urge you to take very seriously the importance of having an effective website to maximize your business, and we have designed our web solutions to help you do this, and truthfully we don't believe you can find a more robust solution for the cost, but if you have a website already, and you're happy with it, who are we to argue?

Q. We already have a website, and our users are accustomed to the look and feel of it, but we'd still love to take advantage of your web solution and the features. Can we still keep our site and benefit from everything else?

A. The web solution is an optional benefit of becoming a Partner. In fact, if you have a website and it is working out just fine for you, you still can have access to the web resources in the resource library. Alternatively, if you want to keep your look and feel of your existing site but integrate into it some or all of the features of our web solution, we can modify your existing website and seamlessly integrate our features into it. This may take quite a bit of extra time to do however and can cost a bit more for set up.

Q.  We don't have a logo. Can you help?

If you need a logo from scratch, our professional graphic designers can design one for you for a reasonable fee. Generally, the cost averages about $350.00. If you have a logo that just needs some 'tweaking' or to be polished up a bit, that will generally be done for you at no charge as part of your initial set-up. Remember also that if you need design services at any time, for whatever reason, our graphic design services are available to our Partners at a very reduced rate.

Q. Do you offer assistance with writing web content?

If you need us to help you write your page content, our writers can do it at the reduced Partner rate. However, we have helpful guides that will assist you in creating your content and your Dedicated Partner Manager is also a tremendous resource for you to help you in this regard. We will also review your site content periodically and offer suggestions if any are warranted.

Q. How long does it take before our site is up?

Our installation team will start the set-up process as soon as you sign on and become a Partner. You should be able to have access to your Admin Panel within a couple of days. Actually getting your site live depends a lot on you. Your images and content need to be prepared. For new domains (as opposed to transfers) A "Coming Soon" page will be uploaded to your domain immediately. As soon as your content is ready to go, we'll make your site live.

Q. When will we be able to start earning revenues as a Stonecarecentral.com Partner/Affiliate from product sales in the on-line store?

As soon as you set yourself up as an affiliate. We can include a link to the on-line store even before your site is live (from your "Coming Soon" page). Once you are live, as part of the "Hit the Ground Running" program, we recommend that you send an announcement to all of your past customers telling them about your brand new site and all its valuable features (i.e. the Care & Maintenance section, the Interactive Design Center, etc.) and let them know that you are now offering quality care products in your on-line store.

Q. What if we want to have you design or develop a solution or benefit that is not currently offered?

If you have a need for something that is not included, and it is something that would add value to the program overall—in other words, something that wouldn't be a custom feature exclusively for you —we'll design, develop and implement it for no charge. On the other hand, if what you want a program or feature that will be exclusive to you or your site, we can develop it for you at a reasonable rate. We strongly encourage you to tell us about things that would add value. It's a significant way our program gets better and better all the time.
